If you’re looking for hotels near Knebworth Park for the Oasis concerts in September 2027, here’s the honest picture: there aren’t many. Around 500 hotel rooms sit within three miles of the park, and each of the six shows brings roughly 125,000 people. That’s one bed for every 250 fans, per night.

The closest hotels to Knebworth Park
The Roebuck Inn (1.2 miles)
One of the closest hotels to the park. 26 rooms in a 15th century pub on the old Great North Road, with food and a bar. With 26 rooms against a six-night run, expect it to go early.
Novotel Stevenage (by Junction 7 of the A1(M))
A full-service hotel with a Knebworth Park address, right by the motorway junction you’d use for Knebworth, with a restaurant and bar. Close on a map, but on show nights the roads around Junction 7 are the busiest in Hertfordshire, so don’t count on a quick drive back.
The Chequers Inn, Knebworth (2.0 miles)
A village pub with 26 rooms, air conditioning and private bathrooms. Around 40 minutes on foot, or a short taxi if you can get one.
Holiday Inn Express Stevenage (2.0 miles)
129 rooms in Stevenage town centre, breakfast included, and a short walk from the station.
Holiday Inn Stevenage (2.1 miles)
140 rooms, the biggest single block of rooms near the park, with a restaurant, bar and parking. Good for groups.
Hotel Cromwell Stevenage (around 2.8 miles)
77 rooms in a converted farmhouse once owned by John Thurloe, secretary to Oliver Cromwell. Quieter, with more character than the chains.
What “near” really means on a show night
Two miles sounds close until 125,000 people leave a field at the same time. The promoters have laid on a stewarded, lit walking route from the park to Stevenage station, and they’re advising fans not to drive. If your hotel is in Stevenage, plan on walking back with the crowd, and allow for the time it takes to clear the park.
Staying 200m from the estate instead
The Pop-Up Camp is on private land just outside Old Knebworth, roughly 200m from the edge of the Knebworth estate. It’s unofficial camping and glamping for the Oasis concerts, from the team behind The Pop-Up Hotel. Every stay is a three-night weekend, Friday to Monday, built around a pair of shows:
- Weekend 1: Friday 10 to Monday 13 September (shows on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12)
- Weekend 2: Friday 17 to Monday 20 September (shows on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19)
- Weekend 3: Friday 24 to Monday 27 September (shows on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26)
Tents are up when you arrive, from porch tents for two to furnished bell tent glampers, with a bar, food and live music on site. No taxi queue, no walk to the station, and no motorway at midnight.
