Knebworth Park sits right off Junction 7 of the A1(M), so driving looks like the obvious way in. For the Oasis concerts in September 2027, it’s worth thinking twice.
What the promoters are saying
In their travel announcement on 17 September 2026, the promoters advised fans not to drive to the site. Instead, they’ve put on late trains from Stevenage to London King’s Cross after every show (11.30pm to 1.30am, £10 one way), a stewarded walking route between the park and Stevenage station, and coaches from more than 120 UK locations.
Why show-day driving is hard
Around 125,000 people head to the same field each night. At recent Knebworth shows, fans reported taking two to three hours to get out of the car parks afterwards. Add road closures and heavy traffic around Junction 7, and a short drive can eat most of your night.
The way round it: arrive the day before
If you need your car, the easiest way to use it is to not drive on show day at all. At The Pop-Up Camp, every pitch comes with a parking pass for our own parking field. You drive in on the Friday, before the show-day traffic, park up, and leave the car for the weekend. The concerts are a walk away, roughly 200m to the edge of the Knebworth estate, and you drive home on Monday once the roads have cleared.
