Wellies, raincoat, sunglasses and head torch on grass with The Pop-Up Camp logo and the line Pack for both

Glastonbury in June can mean blazing sun, a week of mud or both before lunch. Pack for all of it, but pack light. Whatever you bring, you’ll be carrying it a long way!

The essentials

  • Your ticket and photo ID. Tickets are non-transferable and checked on the way in.
  • Your phone, and a fully charged power bank or two.
  • A reusable water bottle. The festival stopped selling single-use plastic drinks bottles in 2019, and there are water points across the site.
  • Bank card, plus a bit of cash as a backup.
  • Any medication you need, in its original packaging.

For the weather

  • Wellies. Even if the forecast is perfect. Especially if the forecast is perfect.
  • A waterproof jacket that packs small.
  • Suncream, sunglasses and a hat.
  • Warm layers for the evenings. Fields get cold at night, even in June.
  • Spare socks. More than you think.

For the camping

  • A tent you know how to pitch, plus pegs and a mallet.
  • Sleeping bag, sleeping mat and pillow.
  • A head torch for finding your tent at 2am.
  • Bin bags for wet kit and rubbish.
  • Toilet roll, wet wipes and hand sanitiser. Trust us.

What to leave at home

  • Anything you’d hate to lose.
  • Glass bottles.
  • Half of those outfits. You’ll live in two of them.
