Glastonbury is back! After the fallow year in 2026, the festival returns to Worthy Farm from Wednesday 23 to Sunday 27 June 2027. First, though, there’s the small matter of getting a ticket. Here’s how the sale works, what it costs and what to have ready.
When do Glastonbury 2027 tickets go on sale?
- Coach and ticket packages: Thursday 1 October 2026 at 6pm (BST).
- General admission: Sunday 4 October 2026 at 9am (BST).
Registration closed at 5pm on Friday 25 September 2026 and won’t reopen until after the October sales. Registered in time? You’re in the game.
How much are Glastonbury 2027 tickets?
£408 per person, including a £5 booking fee, plus £11.25 postage per order. The good news is you don’t pay it all at once: a £100 deposit per person when you book, then the £308 balance in early April 2027.
How the sale works
- You can buy up to six tickets in one go, so one of you can book for the group.
- You’ll need the registration number and registered postcode for everyone you’re booking for.
- Tickets are strictly non-transferable. Each one carries the holder’s registered photo, and there are ID and security checks on the way in. So no, you can’t pass yours to your mate.
Our tips for sale day
- Type out every registration number and postcode before the sale opens, ready to paste.
- Agree who’s booking for who. Two people buying the same tickets is a very Glastonbury way to fall out.
- Have your deposit ready on the card you’re using.
- If the first go fails, keep at it. Getting through can take a while.
Missed out?
Don’t panic. Glastonbury has usually held a resale for returned and cancelled tickets in the spring, open to registered fans only. Keep your registration up to date and keep an eye on the official festival website.
